Henri Landier is now presenting his recent paintings: as many hymns to his love of life and his reflection on old age and death. About sixty works on the cycle of existence: the nude, honoured by buxom women, the couple, both in love and friendship, blossoming maternity, fatherhood with his two daughters, portraits of his grandchildren, a nod to Rembrandt and his friends. With age and maturity, he shows us with tenderness, portraits of radiant men and women, then, with emotion, beings damaged by old age. The last oils reflect the final moments shared with the loved one before the "great departure". Henri Landier ends his testimony on existence, reminding us that time passes inexorably...
